Warehouse Operative (food Industry)
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Potts Partnership is a rapidly growing family owned food manufacturer based in Swindon. We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Operative to assist with the growth of our business and join our rapidly growing team.
The general working hours are 08:00am to 17:00pm but successful applicants must be flexible to the business needs. The ideal candidate will be punctual and reliable and be able to clean and tidy as they work, have a forklift licence, preferably reach and counterbalance, and has worked around food safety before (Food Safety level 2 is preferred but not essential (training given).
The role will involve:
- unloading and booking in raw materials (training given)
- picking ingredients and packaging for production
- Putting away unused raw materials
- Assisting in organising and maintaining an orderly warehouse.
- Carry out daily fork-lift checks
- General cleaning of the area you working in.
- Assisting with stock takes
Rate of pay is £11.55/ hour.
