Role Overview & Responsibilities
Reporting into the Shift Manager, this role is based in Bedford. You will be responsible for the smooth running of warehouse responsibilities.
Hours of work: Sunday - Thursday 17:30 - 02:00
Pay & Benefits
- £26,200.00 Per annum
- Eligible for profit sharing yearly bonus (The more profit the company makes the more we all can earn in bonus - this is uncapped!)
- Overtime is paid at time and a half
- 25 days holiday “plus bank holidays”
- 10 days off over Christmas

Job description
- Current MHE licences (LLOP / Reachtruck) - “ESSENTIAL”
- Picking, packing and loading of goods, ready for dispatch
- Report any issues
- Follow quality service standards & comply with company procedures & policies
- Warehouse maintenance - Ensuring the smooth dispatch & accurate and timely loading of vehicles
- Supporting in maintaining a presentable work area “Clean as you go”
The ideal candidate will be/have -
- Proven working experience as a warehouse operative
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices & methods
- Good organisational & time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders
- Creative problem solving
- IT literate
- Attention to detail
- Passionate & driven
- Work well independently and within in a team environment
