Claims Handler
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Pro Insurance currently has a new opportunity for a Claims Handler to join the Property & Casualty Claims team.
This role will be working on a hybrid basis and successful candidates will be required to travel to Gloucester and London as and when business dictates.
Responsibilities
- Handling live Commercial Specialist claims (including high value and/or complex claims) from cradle to grave.
- Direct and/or Direct Reinsurance Claims
- Claims deriving from various territories (including USA; Europe; South America; Australia & Asia)
- Liaison with internal & external parties (including Pro’s Clients / Brokers / Experts / other Claims Agreement Parties)
- Strict compliance with SLA’s
- Occasional travel to London / Client’s offices
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of Lloyds and/or London Market practices would be preferred but not essential
- It is essential to have working knowledge of at least one (or more) Commercial Insurance classes such as Property, Casualty/Liability, Energy, Marine, Aviation, political risk etc.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills in order to meet Client SLA requirements
- Self-Motivated with the ability to work as part of an office based or remote team
- Excellent and demonstrable written and verbal communication skills.
- A conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients.
