Role Overview & Responsibilities
Account Trainee
Up to £28K DOE
Puro Accountancy are delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy firm based in Greenwich. Our client is currently searching for an experienced accounts assistant/semi senior accountant to join their expanding team. If you are a driven part qualified accountant looking to work for a forward thinking accountancy practice that can support your career progression & studies then we would love to hear from you!

The role
- Preparing year end accounts for limited companies under FRS102 & 105
- Preparing personal tax returns
- Preparing VAT returns
- Bookkeeping duties
- Supporting the payroll department occasionally
- Liaising with HMRC
- General ad hoc duties
You will need
- Accounting qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Must have at least 12 months experience working in a UK accountancy practice
- Experience in a previous similar role is desirable
- Experience with a variety of accounting software’s is desirable
- A positive attitude and keen desire to continue working in practice!
