InfiniBand Network Engineer

Job Summary:

Quanta Manufacturing Fremont is seeking for a network engineer with strong background and enthusiasm in network architectures and network administrations. You will have firsthand experience in setting up manufacturing network infrastructure to support multiple InfiniBand based networks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

In this role, you will primarily be working on designing, configuring, and managing internetworks that heavily emphasized on Mellanox/NVIDIA InfiniBand and High-Performance Computing environments.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong experience in setting up, configuring, and managing InfiniBand networks.
• Extensive knowledge in network architectures and topologies.
• Practical experiences with managing network switches and routers
• Knowledge of Linux based system administration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineer, Software Engineer or equivalent.

· 2+ years of practical experiences specializing in InfiniBand network administrations

Physical Requirements: (Example of requirement)

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift fifteen pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
