Role Overview & Responsibilities
A Healthcare Assistant is responsible for providing direct care and support to patients in a variety of healthcare facility settings. A Healthcare Assistant performs the following duties:
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a healthcare team providing care to clients according to the needs and requests of healthcare providers.
- Aid clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and taking medicine.
- Assist patients in mobilising for physical therapy exercises and promoting strength and flexibility in clients.
- Provide support for dependent, frail clients; assist with dressing, grooming and hygiene.
- Plan activities to promote socialisation.
- Assist with ambulation and range of motion exercises and transfers; provide assistance with the client's activities of daily living while following the principles of safety and maintaining awareness of the client's progress.
- Healthcare Assistant/Midwife/Nurse with pin and no pin/Doctor without UK liscence
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
