Civil Engineer

Fishtek Consulting Ltd, part of the RSK Group provides high quality civil engineering and fisheries consultancy services across the UK, Ireland, SE Asia, and West Africa. Fishtek has an opportunity for a motivated and technically proficient Civil Engineer to join the team on a full time, permanent basis remotely with the expectation to visit the office in Dartington, South Devon as and when needed.

We are composed of a team of Civil, Structural and M&E Engineers and fisheries biologists engaging with a wider network of specialists across the river environment.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
• Working towards chartered status.
• Experience in the preparation of design drawings is essential and experience in the water sector and/or in hydraulic engineering is highly desirable.
• Experience design and construction of fish and eel passes

Responsibilities:

• Contract Management
• Preparation of quotations
• Engineering analysis and calculations (structural, hydraulic and soil mechanics).
• Preparation of design drawings

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary up to £40K depending on experience
