Trainee Applicator
£10.62 per hour / £21,537.36 per annum, basic pay.
OTE £35,000 to £40,000 per annum for this role.
We are recruiting trainee applicators to work with a long-standing client of ours that work on industrial sites worldwide. You will be given onsite training on the product that the client uses and the methods of applying it. Our client looks for semi-skilled / skilled workers who are confident in measuring, cutting, and using hand and power tools. We are looking for candidates who are looking for permanent work.
This client work will be worldwide with recent projects in America and Europe, their project book is fully booked with projects all over the UK and around the word. Due to the influx of work, they are looking for candidates who are interested in permanent only.
Our client is accepting candidates from anywhere in the UK as accommodation is supplied. The shift last up to 10 hours per day 7 days a week paid at £132 per shift for work in the UK, £158 per shift abroad and £210 per shift working offshore. On top of that you get £30 per shift cost of living plus other addon's like nights shifts, overtime, rest days etc. you will be expected to work away from home for long periods of time, months in most cases.

Please note that as travel overseas can be required at short notice, it is beneficial if you live within reasonable travelling distance of a major airport.
Due to the travel requirements for the role, you must hold a valid current passport and you must be double-jabbed against COVID-19.
Main duties will include:
· Carrying out day to day application tasks, as determined by site management and in accordance with company procedures.
· Operation and maintenance of application machinery, tools, and equipment, including cleaning and safe storage.
· Adherence to recommended stock controls.
· Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping, ensuring working environment is clear of waste and reporting any problems that may arise.
· Working in line with requirements of quality, health and safety, and environmental management systems.
Ideal candidates will be:
· Willing to work away from home for extended periods of time, including overseas.
· From a manufacturing or construction background.
· Good communicators and team-players.
· Experienced in following strict instruction and processes to complete tasks.
· Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Working hours:
· On site offshore – 12 hours per day
· On site onshore – 10 hours per day
· Normal place of work – 39 hours per week
