Role Overview & Responsibilities
Salt & Pepper are looking for a new Kitchen Porter to add to their vibrant team!
We're a busy and fast-paced casual dining restaurant, specialising in Chinese street food. We pride ourselves on providing quality food quickly, with excellent customer service, at an affordable price.
As such, all candidates must be able to excel under pressure, feel confident working within an open-kitchen setting and communicate well with their colleagues and customers.
The responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
- Washing, drying and putting away kitchen equipment
- Taking deliveries
- Keeping all BOH areas clean and organised
- Offering assistance where needed in the kitchen.
The main requirements are:
- Competency in a kitchen setting - experience is preferred but not essential.
- Good communication skills
- Good organisation skills.
- An attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to a unique kitchen - we don't do things like anyone else!
- A great work ethic.
