Herb Packing Assistant

Herbs Unlimited is a family run business that has been established for over 25 years. We pack a wide range of fresh herbs, salads, and speciality produce for the catering, food service and food processing markets. We grow and pack our wide range of products on our own farm at Sandhutton as well as import from growers overseas, to ensure 12-month supply of the highest quality and safe products to our customers.
We are passionate about the range of products we supply striving for quality and consistency.
We are looking for individuals to join our packing team that are reliable, enjoy working as part of a team and want to assist us further with strengthening our reputation as supplier of choice for the range of produce we grow and sell.
Working as part of our small packing team your main responsibilities would be the following.

• Responsible for ensuring consistent packing of quality herbs to a high standard.
• Weighing,packing & labelling in various formats according to the customer requirements
• Report to the team leader any concerns about quality
• Follow and observe company personal hygiene rules
• Assist with maintaining production records
• Stock rotation
• Follow company quality policy.
• Report to the section’s team leader at the end of production each day.

• A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
• Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £10.50 per hour
