Role: Azure Technical Architect
Location: Home Based with Travel as required
Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time
Salary Package: Up to £85,000 Plus Car / Allowance plus Large Company Benefits

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as technical lead for Azure cloud engagements
- Provide cloud technology thought leadership to customers and colleagues
- Participate in cloud presales activities in support of solution and sales colleagues
- Deliver detailed cloud infrastructure designs and work with the technical implementation team to deliver the solution
- Provide expertise in developing Azure cloud solutions and associated technical documentation
Key Skills/Experience
- Azure Solution Architect Expert Certifications
- Azure – Deep understanding of Azure architecture including
Azure Functions and Serverless architectures
Azure Sentinel and Security technologies
- Network Skills - Understanding of networking design concepts and security. Ensuring the connectivity and security of our platform
- Security Skills - Knowledge of information assurance compliance and information security basics
- Development Skills – Programming/development experience including use of repositories (e.g. GitHub) and deployment in multi-tier environment
- Infrastructure Skills - Familiar with a variety of operating systems and understanding of virtual machines
- Database Technology - Familiarity with management and maintenance of database/persistence technologies
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes (AKS) and other containerisation platforms
- Deep understanding of the Cloud Adoption Framework
- Demonstrable Azure based cloud architecture and migration skills and experience covering Azure VPC, High availability and DR, Migration assessments and ASR, scalability and resilience patterns, landing zones and security design.
- High understanding and practical application of automation
- Understanding of programme and project management methodologies
As you will be working alongside our colleagues in the UK Public Sector, you will be required to undertake Security Clearance
