Communications Lead - Join Counter Terrorism Policing

Location: London

Pay Rate: £550-£608 per week

Important: Candidates must have SC clearance to be considered for this position.

Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) is seeking an experienced Communications Lead to implement strategies for priority programmes and projects that contribute to CTP's mission of protecting the public from terrorism. Work closely with national Counter Terrorism Policing network, senior officers, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (4+ years) leading large-scale communication projects, translating business challenges into successful strategies, plans, and campaigns.
  • Use insights and research to plan and refine communication activities to engage target audiences.
  • Strong understanding of various communication disciplines and channels.
  • Experience in planning and managing day-to-day communications coordinated with organizational activity.
  • Track record of successful delivery, producing high-quality content.
  • Innovative and creative mindset.
  • Ability to track and measure the impact of communications.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence in delivering impactful presentations and providing communications advice.
  • Proactively seek best practices and share insights.
  • Motivation to contribute to national communications network initiatives.
  • Experience or interest in crisis communications.
  • Desirable skills: understanding of digital communications, behavioral science application, proficiency in analytical tools and data.

  • Provide leadership and support to direct reports.
  • Attentive to colleagues' welfare and wellbeing.
  • Lead by example, demonstrate self-motivation, creativity, and commitment.
