Line Operator - Night Shift

Sharpak Romsey is a leader in the plastics extrusion industry and manufactures plastic sheet for use in the thermoformed packaging industry.

To support an exciting period of growth, we are looking for Line Operatives to compliment our Production team for the site. The role is varied and involves running the extrusion lines, quality checking, moving stock, and general warehouse duties.

Because of the industry and the type of machines that we use, we do not expect new starters to have experience. We are therefore looking for people that love to learn, and have a natural curiosity for how things work and their own continuous improvement. An interest in manufacturing, engineering or similar would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have warehouse or manufacturing experience, however full training will be provided. Good communication skills and the ability to work well both in a team and unsupervised are essential.

The role is paying £12 per hour, with the opportunity for progression to the maximum rate of £16.49 and is awarded on a skills-based system - the faster you learn, the faster you earn!

The role is on a 4 on / 4 off shift rotation across 7 days and night shifts are from 6pm - 6am
