Nursery Nurse Apprentice

We have a vacancy within our nursery at Sheridan Street for an apprentice to come and join our team and complete their Level 3 Childcare qualification.

Applicants need to be keen, committed and hardworking and have a passion of wanting to support children's learning and development.

Apprenticeship training will be provided and applicants will be supported by a mentor during their training and completion of their course.

Main responsibilities:

- To support children's teaching and learning with the support of qualified team members.

- To work as part of team within Sinfin Community Childcare

- To adhere to all nursery policies and procedures on a daily basis

- To ensure that the children are cared for in a clean, tidy but stimulating environment.
- To plan and provide appropriate activities for the individual needs of children.

- To be committed in working towards and completing their Childcare qualification.

Desired qualifications
Successful candidate must have GCSE grades (or equivalents) A*-C in both English and Maths.

This Position requires a full Enhanced Criminal Record Check (DBS)
