Sales Assistant

Join our team! SoleLution are a small independent chain of shoe shops and we are looking for a full-time Sales Assistant to join our team to cover maternity leave in our Portishead store.

At SoleLution we love using our knowledge, expertise and passion for footwear to help each and everyone of our customers, young and old, find the right shoe for their sole!

You will have a passion for serving customers, enjoy working in a small team and have a focus on keeping the shop and stockroom clean and tidy.

The role is for 37.5 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9am - 5.30pm.

You will

• have a passion for providing an outstanding customer experience.
• have retail experience, with shoe fitting being an advantage. We will provide full job specific training including fitting childrens' shoes.
• be proficient in English.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Manage point-of-sale processes
• Actively involve in the receiving of deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9-10 months

Salary: £10.42 per hour
