Role Overview & Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to train as a CBT therapist with Solent NHS Trust Adult Mental Health Secondary Care Service and Southampton University!
This is a 2-year fixed term appointment with the hope of ongoing employment post-qualifying in the CBT diploma but this cannot be guaranteed. You will be working within the service providing CBT (and if already trained DBT) whilst undertaking the CBT Diploma with Southampton University. Whilst working in the service for 3-4 days per week using your newly developed skills, you will also attend the training course and undertake personal study days. You will hold one of the following at graduate level in either nursing, social work, occupational therapy, or an evidence-based psychological therapy, as this is essential to enrol onto the diploma.
