Job Advert Description
The Joint Scientific Investigation Unit is seeking to recruit a Trainee Assistant Fingerprint Officer to deal with the basic administration and processing of Fingerprint Forms submitted to the Fingerprint Bureau and assist in maintaining the National Fingerprint Collection. The successful candidate will provide overall administrative support on a multi-functional basis to contribute to the smooth running of the Department/Force.
This post would be suitable for someone considering a career in the Fingerprint Bureau. The candidate will be required to attend an Initial Fingerprint Course and on-going training and competence.
The successful candidate must be prepared to undergo vetting to RV level.
