Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking to recruit an experienced van driver with flexibility and a good work ethic to be working from our plant based in Redruth
Purpose of the role
- To deliver and collect goods between the company site and customer premises in a safe, secure and timely manner
- Efficient and accurate loading and unloading of items in accordance with company methods and materials
- Recording and accurate completion of documents
- To display a professional and courteous approach to all customers, motorists and other members of the public
- To maintain a high quality of vehicle care including; avoiding damage and regular cleaning
- Completing daily safety checks of vehicle
- Driving within the UK highway code regulations
- THE ROLE INVOLVES REPETITIVE AND HEAVY LIFTING THAT WILL AT TIMES REQUIRE CARRYING PACKED LAUNDRY HAMPERS UP AND DOWN STAIRCASES AND STEPS AND WITHIN CONFINED SPACES
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £11.38 per hour
