Role Overview & Responsibilities
South West London Pathology is an award-winning NHS pathology partnership set up by St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Croydon Health Services NHS Trust and Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to provide a single, integrated pathology service across South West London and beyond. On 1 May 2021, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust joined to form an expanded South West London Pathology partnership.
We are currently seeking to recruit to a full-time post and are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, hard-working individual able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
This post is based at Kingston Hospital however the post holder may be required to work at any of the South West London Pathology sites as and when necessary.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and motivated State Registered Biomedical Scientists to join a well-established team within the Biochemistry section of this busy department, which has full Clinical Pathology Accreditation. The department actively encourages further education and CPD activities. Biomedical scientists within the Biochemistry section work on Roche Cobas 8000 analysers and Roche P612 pre-analytics.
Applicants must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and have post registration experience in a CPA or IBMS accredited laboratory.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the 24 hour/ seven day service.
