Role Overview & Responsibilities

POSITION SCOPE
Receive, store, load product and operate the FIBC plant in accordance with the company's SHHEQ policies and procedures.
POSITION STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES AND KEY DELIVERABLES
- Efficiently receive, locate and load product from production lines and outside storage ensuring that all Warehouse Management System, Quality and Stock inventory transactions are completed on time and are accurate.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare customised pallets as specified customer needs.
- Operate FIBC packing line and ancillary equipment to safety, environmental, quality, hygiene and output standards.
- Operate effectively within a flexible & committed team.
- To demonstrate a full knowledge and understanding of the Warehouse Management System and all packing and warehouse operations within the job through continuous development and training and assist in the training and development of colleagues.
- To maintain high safety and quality standards in all operations and working practises.
- To enforce high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping in line with company policies / Reduce sugar loss.
- Carry out Hygiene and Safety Audits and actively participate in local and area safety meetings.
- Be flexible to cover other warehouse roles, including administrative duties.
- Use knowledge and experience to anticipate problems where possible and to solve problems when they occur.
ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)
Numerate and computer literate.- Good communication skills.
- Fault finding skills
- Manual Handling Awareness.

WORK EXPERIENCES
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a Warehouse area.
- Counterbalance licence.
