Trainee Risk Assistant. £25,000-£35,000
For an A level or graduate calibre candidate (or equivalent) looking to develop their career within the Lloyd’s Underwriting industry this could be an excellent career opportunity. Some exposure to the insurance sector would be beneficial.
This is a broad role that will provide you with the opportunity to gain practical experience and knowledge in the Risk team, which is there to help all areas of our business manage the risks and potential losses of the insurance markets in which the company operate. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to gain a wide range of experience and exposure across Risk Management and a detailed understanding of the activities of a specialty Insurer.
Main duties
Risk data analysis, review and documentation
Monitoring the business risk profile and adherence with risk appetites
Production of management information / regular reporting for committees, management meetings and the wider Group.
Support the projects that fall under the remit of the team such as the Annual ORSA Report, Internal Model Validation, Stress Testing and Independent Underwriting Reviews
Build relationships with internal stakeholders to effectively communicate key risk issues and to ensure timely receipt of key Risk metrics and KPIs
Attendance at meetings as required
Support in the production of Regulatory Report
