Role Overview & Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 4 Assistant Psychologist to join Children and Young People's Services across County Durham and Darlington.The post is split: 0.4wte Paediatric Health Psychology and 0.6wte Children's Learning Disabilities. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and able to manage their time effectively. They will demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent psychological care and evidence-based practice, under the supervision of Applied Psychologists. They will work in a range of settings, including hospital environments, contributing to assessment and intervention for children and young people presenting with a range of health needs and with Learning Disabilities.
