Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Best Connection (Newcastle) are currently recruiting for a Counter Balance FLT Operative on behalf of our client's large warehouse in Dunston, Gateshead.
Candidates must hold a valid and in date Counter Balance licence. A Reach Truck license is also preferred, but not essential.
The role:
- Operating Counter Balance FLT and help load/unload vehicles
- Picking materials from the Warehouse
- Manual handling activities such as (but not limited to) pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying will be required
- Stock replenishment, tipping vehicles, moving pallets etc
The candidate:
- Valid and in date Counter Balance FLT licence (not in-house)
- A Reach Truck license is preferred, but not essential
- Physically fit
- Able to work under own initiative or part of a team
Hours of work and pay:
- Monday to Friday
- 11:30am - 21:00pm
- £11.00 per hour
