The Librarian will work flexibly and proactively through a world of ‘Blended learning’ working closely with a range of areas and teams, including but not limited to: the SENCo and learning support, subject leaders and teachers. The role will also offer the opportunity to have a direct impact on student learning through supporting teachers within lessons, developing resources for teaching research skills to young people and delivering extra-curricular activities to promote a love of reading. Ideally, you will have a qualification in librarianship, teaching or information although consideration will be given to a candidate currently working towards a suitable qualification. The hours are 36 per week, worked during term time only.
Salary will be based on experience, in the GLPC pay scale S5 points 11 – 15.
This is a part-time, term time only post with working hours/days to be agreed.
