Job Description

The Stone & Tile Company is an e-commerce business based in Coalville, Leicestershire. Our warehouse is prepared to process orders of any scale, whether it be a few tiles for a kitchen project through to a large commercial project. We hold all of our products in stock and when combined with our low cost operating model, it allows us to offer great quality products, at great prices.

We are looking for a warehouse operative to join our small team. The right candidate will be happy to work autonomously and be required to carry out the following key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Picking & wrapping of orders for pallet & parcel courier orders
• Picking sample orders and dispatching through our customer portals
• Manually handling of good
• Inspecting incoming goods
• Sorting, checking and re-boxing goods when required
• Checking for damaged or missing items
• Stock control
• Processing customer returns
• Cleaning the warehouse
• Cutting and preparing sample stock
• Loading and un-loading deliveries
• Moving stock into location

Ideal Person

• Physically fit as heavy lifting is a requirement

Additional Requirements

• Counterbalance forklift licence would be an advantage

This is a full-time role - 9am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday. Saturday availability may be a requirement in the future to support our showroom operation.

Salary: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
