Kennel Assistant

Kennels Assistant required, immediate start for right candidate. Must be used to Dogs & Cats, preferably a pet owner. Some mornings and afternoons required, be better if you can do both types. Needs an English Speaker as we don`t speak anything else and most of the customers will converse in English. Must be a good timekeeper as Routines must start on time and not waiting for staff to arrive late. Morning Shifts are 5hrs from 07.30 , or Afternoons 5hrs from 13.30. Wages based on age rated defined by GOV. Casual ,tidy dress is required as dogs may jump up, raincoat and wellies for wet weather. Not a good Bus route so own transport prob necessary. Duties include releasing dogs onto grass areas, cleaning out kennels, poo-picking areas (with equipment), washing up bowls, placing pets in kennels, assisting feeding, Vacuuming dog mats and some other minor tasks. Not rocket science, but needs someone who is kind, sensible, punctual, easy going, willing to learn our routines safely. We are a Family and treat Staff like a friend, and expect the same back. I deal candidate will live within 15 mile radius of us as many candidates find the fuel costs too much from further afar for part time hrs.
