Caretaker/Maintenance

We are offering a part time Caretaker position, to the right candidate.

The position is in Clayton, Manchester, M11 4SR

5 days a week Monday till Friday, 6 am till 11am

the rate will be £11.50ph

some Saturdays maybe required, (rate will then be £13 per hour)

Main duties include:

• Cleaning all properties to a high standard
• Dusting, Damp Wiping, Washing and Polishing
• Vacuuming floors and carpets
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Replenishing hand soap, bin bags, toilet paper and tissues.
• Clearing waste and litter in appropriate bins
• Borehole meter readings (weekly)
• issue overalls, boots, coats and PPE to site staff when required. (Weekly)
• Gas meter and water meter readings (Monthly)
• All gardening and landscape maintenance (Monthly)
• General site tidiness, litter and fallen leaves, should be addressed at all times
• Road marking yellow lines/parking bays
• De-icing walkways and carpark
• Odd jobs around the office, i,e: hanging pictures, moving furniture, computers and files.
• Replenish salt bins.
• Lubricating doors, gates around site, fitting locks to changing room doors
• Office Furniture, taking delivers and building flat packs
• Following health & safety guidelines
• Reporting any issues to the Manager (when appropriate)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary: £11.50 per hour
