Wedding and events waiting staff

Wedding & Events Caterer based in Reading looking for helpful & enthusiastic catering staff to join our growing team.

The successful candidates must have some experience working in the hospitality industry and have excellent customer service skills.

Flexible hours available. This part time position offers hours for both midweek events and at weekends and so weekend availability is essential.

Candidates will be working as part of a team of catering staff and with a catering manager delegating responsibilities.

The role includes duties such as;

Smooth & efficient set up with a good eye for attention to detail

Drinks reception served in accordance with requirements and delivery of canapés efficiently

Smooth service of the meal with all guests looked after properly

Service of drinks throughout; service of water, wine and any toasts for speeches

Set up of evening reception with any clearing up & moving of tables

Evening food served promptly and to a high standard

Helping with any guest requests

Closing down duties.

Possible bar work dependant on experience.

Possible additional shifts available at our premises in Mortimer helping with clearing up and preparation for the next event.

The majority of our events are local in the Reading& Berkshire area. Your own travel to and from events is preferable.
