Production Operative

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated candidates to join the business as Production Operatives on a permanent basis. The role of Production Operative will encompass being multi-trained on various equipment/ sections.

Your workplace would be CPG Europe manufacturing site based in Hindley Green, Wigan. Over the past 3 years this site has significantly grown. A multi-million-pound investment has been made to increase the production capacity, improve site infrastructure, and modernise the factory. You will join a helpful and engaged production team.

Duties Include:

• Loading, unloading, and operating production filling lines.
• Blending and filling to exact production standards.
• Operating semi-automatic and fully automatic filling and packing machines.
• Ensuring that the production plan is achieved.
• Maximising productivity from all process equipment by minimising downtime and waste.
• Monitoring, controlling, and recording information on paper and electronic systems
• Help with process improvement projects, internal audits and cycle counts as required.

Woking Patterns include the following:

Current:

• Monday to Wednesday 06:00 - 16:00
• Thursday 06:00 - 14:00

Other Variants to working hours includes:

• Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14:00
• Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 22:00
• Friday 06:00 - 12:00
• Friday 12:00 - 18:00

Salary & Benefits:

• Starting annual base salary of £23,304 per annum.
• Additional shift allowance of £2436 / annum paid on top of base salary.
• Lucrative performance-based bonus scheme, where you could earn additional 10% of your base salary.
• Overtime paid at an enhanced rate
• 38 hours working week
• 25 days holiday entitlement (plus bank holidays) increasing to 27 days holiday following length of service with the business.
