Job description
A carer for an 11-year-old intellectually disabled boy for 16 hours a week.
Main duties and requirements:

1. Supporting development by adjusting specific forms of activity.
2. Social and recreational activities, e.g. going to the park for swings, swimming pool, trampolines, walks.
3. Caring for a friendly atmosphere.
4. Control of attention, effective communication, for example, the ability to use makaton.
5. Ability to work with a child with an autism spectrum, including remedial methods in difficult behavioural situations.
6. Supporting the maintenance of the child's independence.
7. It is necessary to be aware of Karolek’s specific diseases and disorders he is struggling with.
Also, it is very important to be emphatic, patient and someone with a big heart.
