About us

Research Department of Primary Care and Population Health: The Department undertakes a programme of internationally competitive multi-disciplinary research addressing the management and prevention of disease in individuals and populations in areas of priority to the health of the public.


About the role

The post holder will be supervising a small team of research assistants, ensuring successful delivery of trial milestones, overseeing delivery of our implementation plan and contributing to disseminating our findings.

This post is funded to the end of our grant 28.02.2025.

Please note appointment could be offered at either Research Fellow, Grade 7 (£38,308 - £46,155) or Senior Research Fellow, Grade 8 (£47,414 - £55,805) depending on the experience.

About you

We seek an individual who holds a doctoral degree or equivalent research experience with an interest in Parkinson’s/health conditions in later life. We are also looking for experience of

  • project management and research in NHS settings,
  • experience/knowledge of Randomised Controlled Trials
  • in writing reports and/or publications.

The post-holder should have excellent team-working, oral and written communication skills.

We have a flexible approach, supporting hybrid working. We have a commitment to continuous professional development.

Interviews are scheduled to take place either on 21st or 28th April 2023.
