Band 6 Information Analyst

The Health Informatics Department at University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) has an exciting opportunity to join the department as an Information Analyst to support a number of key areas across the Trust.

The principal purpose of this role is to work proactively with the operational leads across the trust and consider a wide range of operational, strategic and policy issues including service redesign and promoting the effective use of information analysis to allow the Trust to know and understand its own performance.

This post holder will encourage further engagement with operational staff across the Trust at all levels to introduce new ways of analysing and presenting data particularly focusing on Power BI reporting.

The post holder will be expected to have experience of managing large complex datasets including but not specific to patient activity, prescribing data, maternity and sexual health data. They will be responsible for extracting data and managing processes used to populate clinical dashboards and internal and external reporting
