Role Overview & Responsibilities
Applications are invited for the post of Community Clinical Teacher (CCT). Reporting to the Supra Theme for Patient in the Community Setting, you will be primarily responsible for teaching in small groups, content that relates to the understanding of the patient and their management in the community setting.
You will be expected to be available on one or two full days each week. Where possible, this will be on the same day of the week for an individual Community Clinical Teacher. Applicants must hold a substantive clinical post in General Practice within the NHS. You must also have an up to date knowledge of primary care in the UK, including the management of acute and chronic conditions, reflecting the clinical diversity of modern general practice. The majority of teaching sessions are available at the Liverpool university campus, although teaching is also delivered at Blackpool Victoria Hospital and in Llandudno, North Wales. Further enquiries to clarify this requirement are welcomed.
