Role Overview & Responsibilities
Based within the Student Administration and Support Division of the Directorate of Student Experience and Enhancement, this post will provide a range of psychological and practical support for students with disabilities experiencing emerging, complex and / or enduring mental health difficulties. This post plays a key role in responding to and managing risk associated with mental health difficulties and works as part of a multidisciplinary team with Student Services.
The role holder will also work with external agencies to enhance their understanding of the needs of students with disabilities and mental health difficulties to develop effective inter agency approaches. You will seek innovative approaches to mental health support working with academic and professional services across the University to develop a culture, which supports positive mental health.
This is a new role and you will be joining existing specialist teams to deliver innovative services to students. We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of this exciting development opportunity.
