Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Micro Internship Programme Assistant to support the delivery of the Micro Internship Programme, which facilitates hundreds of global internships for both undergraduate and postgraduate Oxford students each year.
The Internship Office facilitates exciting internship and mentoring experiences exclusively to Oxford University students. The key programmes run by the Internship Office are the Summer Internship Programme, the Micro Internship Programme, the Crankstart Internship and Mentoring Programmes, and the Promentor Programme.
The post-holder will have a range of skills including good interpersonal and administrative skills. The successful candidate will work as part of an international team and be a highly effective communicator, particularly in liaising with external organisations. They will also be flexible and confident in the use of social media platforms and standard office technology, as well as happy to learn how to use databases and IT systems if necessary.
Flexible working patterns will be considered; staff in the careers service are currently permitted to work up to 40% from home.
