Role Overview & Responsibilities
Providing a reception service for students, tutors and visitors, you will work independently and have responsibility for the security of the building. You will also undertake some administrative tasks and classroom preparation, and will be based at the Department's main teaching premises in Ewert House, Summertown although you may be called upon to carry out duties at our other Departmental facilities in Central Oxford.
You must be dependable, flexible, calm under pressure and show initiative. You will be well organised and prepared to move classroom equipment.
You will be expected to work 12 hours per week, from 5pm to 11pm Tuesday and Thursday evenings during term time. Annual leave is 39 days (pro rata) inclusive of public holidays and Christmas closure days. A University pension scheme is available.
