Grade 6: £30,502- £36,386 per annum
Fixed term for 6 months end date 30th September 2023
The Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics seeks to employ a Research Assistant to work on the project ‘Intonation in Breton: evidence from connected speech’. The position is funded on a fixed-term basis for a total of 476 hours over up to six months (end date: 30th September 2023) by a John Fell OUP Fund grant awarded to Dr Holly Kennard.
The project seeks to analyse intonation in connected speech recordings of Breton, a Celtic language spoken in Brittany (France). These recordings have been transcribed but no analysis has yet been undertaken.
Interviews are planned for the 17th March, applications for the role should be made through the system.
