Trainee and Site Service Technicians

UTS Engineering Ltd is a global specialist in the pipeline industry. We aim to provide quality, yet cost effective piping solutions within the shortest lead time. UTS Engineering provide pipe fitting, steel fabrication and under pressure drilling services, alongside a 24 hour emergency response.

UTS have a number of job openings across the UK for Trainee Site Technicians. You will be teamed with one of our highly experienced Lead Technicians and will work with while you complete your training.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Assisting the lead technicians setting up / dismantling under pressure drilling equipment.

• Work with the lead technician and be mentored to install under pressure fittings, using torque equipment and carry out hydrostatic pressure tests.

• Carrying out job completion paper work and returning it to the commercial office.

• Share driving responsibilities with the lead technician.

• Carry out regular maintenance of equipment.

You will need:

• A full, clean driving licence
• CSCS Card - This is preferred but not essential.

• GCSE Maths and English C or Above or equivalent qualification.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £19,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
