Events Coordinator - Global

This is a newly created role reporting into our Events Marketing Manager. The Events Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the company’s marketing event initiatives throughout the EMEA region and will further support the Events Marketing Manager in the planning, promotion, and execution of all Veson Nautical Global events. The role will manage the evaluation and reporting on event participation against a set of key performance indicators and the Event Coordinator will need to maintain a high-quality productivity level within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Events Marketing Manager in managing all aspects of an event from pre-planning, determining resource needs, coordination leading up to the event to post event show follow up
• Manage Show Logistics: Show registration, preparation of exhibitor booths, packing & shipping of show materials and communication with show vendors
• Manage post event reporting on event success (ROI)
• Coordinate with outside vendors for industry event show orders and tracking of spend
• Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, internal stakeholders before, during and after events
• Support with the booking of venues, hotels & travel

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in the support and planning of high-quality events is a plus
• Passion for corporate event planning
• Ideally experience in the following systems and tools - Microsoft Office, GoToWebinar, Adobe Photo Suite, and HubSpot
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management or related qualification is a plus
• Outgoing personality with a desire to learn
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines and problem solve
