ABOUT THE ROLE:

The role will include but is not limited to:

Hosting photo sessions for newborn babies, children, babies & families and more

Editing photographs taken by Viva La Foto;

Hosting viewings of photographs taken at Viva La Foto;

Booking in clients for sessions & viewings;

Scheduling collection dates for product orders;

Dealing with general enquiries over the phone, by email and in person;

Day to day running of the studio.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

An experienced photographer with excellent customer service skills.

Ideally you will have experience working in a photographic studio with a solid understanding of studio lighting, DSLR camera systems, Adobe Photoshop and general digital photography methods. Qualifications or formal training in photography will be advantageous but not essential, however, if you don’t know your ISO from your f-stop then this role is probably not for you.

Applicants must have good verbal and written English skills, a confident yet polite telephone manner and the ability to communicate effectively with adults and children alike. Previous experience working with children would be excellent. We are a small, tight-knit team so ideally you will be willing to integrate into our team yet be self-motivated and able to focus on various tasks whilst adhering to (sometimes tight) deadlines.

Knowledge of Adobe Bridge and Microsoft Office Applications would be advantageous but not entirely necessary. We will provide training where needed but ideally you will be able to hit the ground running.

Applicants must be prepared to work a minimum of 26 hours per week over the weekend in our Bromley studio. Typical working hours are 10-5 Tuesday-Saturday with the possibility of extended hours.
