Manufacturing Lead

We are currently supporting our client in their search for a Manufacturing Leader/Supervisor, managing the pressings department. Specialising in presswork, assembly, CNC, and more, our client is growing and needs someone to drive initiatives and support their manufacturing and engineering operations.

You will be reporting to the Managing Director and your responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Managing continuous improvement.
• Management of KPIs/manufacturing targets.
• Leading the quality process/leading auditing activity.
• Training and coaching the team to optimise skills.
• Production planning
• Responsible for implementation of health and safety/ensuring best practices.
• Managing NPI
• Implementing and overseeing ISO
• Creating methodologies to improve production and reduce costs/scrap.
