In this role you will support the local community to travel safely on the journey to and from school.
The Council is seeking enthusiastic, committed individuals who want to make a positive contribution to road safety in the Borough. If you are keen to improve road safety on local roads then we would like to hear from you.
A School Crossing Patrols is employed to help children (and any adult who would like to be assisted) to cross the road at designated points, between specified times during term time. Uniform and training are provided. This post is term time only, with the hours on duty split across a morning and afternoon. We currently have a number of vacancies across the Borough. Expenses will be paid for travelling over 1 mile.
