Full-time, 37 hours per week (1.0FTE)
Fixed term ending 31st July 2023
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technician Demonstrator to be part of our increasing research and knowledge exchange work on the University College’s Farm. The role will provide day-to-day assistance to farm manager whilst simultaneously providing technical support to academic staff overseeing funded projects, student research and teaching.
The role will involve on-farm data collection, working and liaising with industry partners, with the technician team in the science department, include preparing presentations and reports for stakeholders and/or for academic publication.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a degree in Animal Science or Agriculture or a related field and have relevant up-to-date technical knowledge. It would be advantageous to have previous industrial experience.
