Barista

Our Barista/Front of will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks and ensuring our customers are satisfied. The ideal candidate for this position is outgoing, loves talking to people and is motivated in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have passion for coffee and be well-versed in espresso-based beverages. He or she will also be responsible for keeping the bar area tidy, ordering stock and adhering to sanitation policies.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering excellent customer service.
• Provide friendly and helpful service to all customers.
• Knowledge of the menu items and their preparation.
• Perfect knowledge of the ingredients and the preparation methods of drinks, food and other items that are served in the coffee shop.
• Prepare hot, frothy espresso based drinks.
• Make a variety of hot or cold espresso based drinks using a variety of espresso machines and equipment.
• Prepare simple pastries, toasts, desserts or sandwiches with basic garnishes.
• Prepare special coffee blends or tea blends according to customers' preferences.
• Presenting our products effectively in an attractive way; contributing to an attractive and clean atmosphere in our coffee shop; contributing to a positive image of the company.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: £9.00-£10.50 per hour
